The Northern Front Range Chapter of Backcountry Snowsports Alliance was established in January 2008 to develop a strong community of winter backcountry users along the Northern Front Range of Colorado.
The Backcountry Snowsports Alliance is a Colorado not-for-profit organization. We are a coalition of backcountry skiers, snowshoers, and snowboarders that strive to promote dialogue among backcountry users, work with land managers to develop sound winter management practices, and promote safety in the backcountry.
If you would like to support us in our work, please consider joining the Backcountry Snowsports Alliance.
For more information or to become involved in the Northern Front Range Chapter of the Backcountry Snowsports Alliance please contact us.
We are currently conducting a survey of winter backcountry enthusiasts in the greater Cameron Pass area. The results of the survey will better determine the needs of the backcountry community using Cameron Pass area. Your feedback will greatly improve efforts to increase backcountry safety and protect our backcountry resources in Northern Colorado. Please help improve the Cameron Pass area by completing the survey!
